More than fifty years have passed… Urubamba is reborn today with an ever-sharpened spirit and the same overflowing passion for Andean music.
Jorge Milchberg has physically left us, but he remains extremely present through his innovative approach to folklore, his fine understanding of melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic functions, his open musical vision transcending cultural boundaries.
Now it is his son Olivier’s turn, his partner for over forty years, accompanied by long-time musicians to carry the torch, keep it alive, and make it grow!
