With Urubamba, we prioritise reaching a state of deep connection among ourselves and with the audience. Music opens a vibrational space of emotions beyond what words can express.
In addition, it is just as important for us to communicate verbally with the audience, especially with students, to share our creative process, the traditional origins of the music we perform, the unique approach developed by the group’s founder, Jorge Milchberg, and the particular character of our instruments.
This is why we offer Music Talks in which we alternate between music and spoken explanations: each musician speaks about these different topics, followed by a time for questions and answers.
